Barbara L. Green

Barbara L. Green, 72, of Hanover, PA, formerly of Upperco, MD, entered God’s eternal care, Saturday, December 18, 2021, at UPMC Hanover.

Born September 14, 1949, in Hanover, PA, she was the daughter of the late Oscar P. and Barbara (Murray) Dulaney.  Barbara was the loving wife of the late Thomas E. Green, Sr., with whom she shared 49 years of marriage until his passing on September 7, 2017. 

Barbara was a member of Emmanuel United Church of Christ, Hanover, PA, the Ladies Auxiliary of the American Legion Post 200, Hampstead, MD, and the Carroll County Street Rods Association.

Barbara worked as an Accounts Payable clerk at Joseph A. Banks, Hampstead, MD for over 20 years and later at Lifetouch Studios until her retirement.

Barbara is survived by her daughter-in-law, Tara Webb; grandson, Duncan Green, two sisters, Joan McAlister, and Patsy L. Nease, nieces, Kelly McAlister and Barb Hendrickson, nephew, Shawn Nease, and other nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by a brother, Oscar P. Dulaney, Jr.

A celebration of life service will be announced at a later date.  Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens, Sykesville, MD.
