Barry L. Baney was born January 16, 1951, to the late Dorothy (Stine) Baney and William Baney and was welcomed into the arms of Jesus September 12, 2022.
Barry graduated from Spring Grove High School in 1968. He was employed by Cooper Motors in Hanover for 41 years. He was a member of St. Bartholomew’s United Church, ELCA.
Barry enjoyed attending his grandchildren’s sports and musical activities.
Barry is predeceased by his first wife and mother of his children; Nancy (Raubenstine) Baney. He is also predeceased by sisters, Donna Sipes and Connie Cullison, half-brother, Barry Anderson, and brother-in-law Vernon Craley.
Barry is survived by his wife Gloria; children, Brian Baney (Jen), Kimberly Trone (Tom); stepchildren, Lori Vidal (Carlos) and Steven Fisher (Stacey); grandchildren, Ethan, Emma, and Ellieanna Baney, and Carson and Ashlyn Trone; step-grandchildren, Bryceton, Jocelyn, and Landon Fisher, and Enrique and Javier Vidal; sisters, Bonnie Craley and Delores Sweitzer (Bob); brother-in-law, Ed Sipes; and sister-in-law, Pat Anderson.
Funeral services will be private. Burial will be in St. Bartholomew’s Church Cemetery, Hanover, PA.
Much love and thanks to our precious children who so willingly gave tender, loving care to Dad, and to their spouses and grandchildren who faithfully visited and entertained Pappaw; and to friends and family who have prayed for us and continually encouraged us. Thank you to all doctors and medical staff who have gently guided us through this journey.
