Benjamin B Bollinger, 85, of Hanover, entered God's eternal care Tuesday, January 11, 2022, at Spring Creek Rehab & Nursing Center, Harrisburg, PA.
Born January 12, 1936, in Lancaster, PA, he was the son of the late Benjamin and Reba (Beyer) Bollinger. Benjamin was the loving husband of the Loretta L. (Kline) Bollinger with whom he shared 60 years of marriage.
Benjamin was a carpenter with Suburban Builders for many years and later was the building and Maintenance man for the former Farmer’s Bank.
Benjamin was a member of Hanover Church of the Brethren. He enjoyed gardening and wood working and especially spending time with his family.
In addition to his wife Loretta, Benjamin is survived by his son, B. Paul Bollinger of Hanover, PA; his daughter, E. Suzanne Shirey of Sibiu, Romania; 3 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; his brothers, Robert Bollinger, and Ray Bollinger; his sisters, Edna Bollinger, Geraldine Bollinger, and Ruth Nolt. He was preceded in death by one brother, Gerald Bollinger and one sister, Martha Oberholtzer.
As were Benjamin’s wishes his body was donated to science and services will be held at a later date.
