Beverly J. Ziegenhein

Beverly J. Ziegenhein, 78, of Hanover, PA entered God’s eternal care, Friday, June 7, 2024, at home with her loving family by her side.

Born February 22, 1946, in Baltimore, MD, she was the son of the late Richard O. Tinsman and Alice C. (Chappel) Hall.  Beverly was the loving wife of the late Dana L. Ziegenhein with whom she shared 56 years of marriage until his passing on April 19, 2024, and together they were known affectionately as “Ziggy and Zag”.

Beverly was a 1965 graduate of Catonsville High School, Catonsville, MD.  She worked in the Cafeteria at South Western High School for 14 years until her retirement in June of 2008.

Beverly enjoyed collecting Santa’s and Curious George dolls.  She loved to spend time with her family and friends, especially her grandson, David.

Beverly is survived by her daughter, Yvette Budzik of Edgewood, MD; her grandson, David Budzik; and one brother, Samuel Tinsman.  She was preceded in death by three siblings, Richard Tinsman, Betty Hall, and Gloria Loeffler. 

Following cremation, services will be private and at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made in Beverly’s memory to the American Cancer Society, 1818 Market Street, Philadelphia, PA 19103.
