Beverly A. Hoover

Beverly A. Hoover, 87, of Spring Grove, PA, entered God’s eternal care, Friday, August 8, 2025, at the Yorkview Nursing and Rehab Center, York, PA.

Born February 4, 1938, in Hanover, PA, she was the daughter of Wilson and Hilda (Toomey) Sipe. Beverly was the loving wife of the late Marlin S. Hoover, with whom she shared sixty-nine years of marriage until his passing on November 1, 2024.

Beverly was a member of St. Paul’s Dubs UCC, Hanover, PA.

Beverly was a 1955 graduate of Spring Grove Area High School, Spring Grove, PA. She was a travel agent for many years with her last employment with Rohrbaugh’s Bus Service until her retirement. Bev was also a member of The Spring Grove Alumni Chorus.

Beverly enjoyed traveling, singing, and especially loved spending time with her family.

Beverly is survived by her son, Craig A. Hoover of Red Lion, PA; her daughter, Yvette M. Baldwin of Dover, PA; two grandsons, Jason M. Baldwin and Ryan J. Baldwin; and her brother, Robert Sipe of Spring Grove. She was preceded in death by a son, Scott M. Hoover.

A visitation and time to share memories with the family will be held from 6:00-8:00PM, Thursday, August 14, 2025, at the Kenworthy Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 269 Frederick Street, Hanover, PA. A graveside service will be held 10:00AM, Friday, August 15, 2025, at St. Paul’s Dubs Church Cemetery, 1958 Dubs Church Road, Hanover, PA, with the Rev. Scott A. Sager officiating.

Memorial contributions may be made in Beverly’s name to the Alzheimer’s Association.
