Blanche Moore Obituary

Blanche E. Moore, 78, of Hanover, PA, entered God's eternal care, Saturday, January 22, 2022, at SpiriTrust Lutheran, The Village at Gettysburg.

Born September 15, 1943, in York, PA, she was the daughter of the late Leroy and Arlene (Krout) Dubbs. Blanche was the loving wife of Karl E. Moore with whom she shared 39 years of marriage.

Blanche was a 1961 graduate of Susquehannock High School, Glen Rock, PA. She worked for Caterpillar in York, PA for twenty years until her retirement in 1996.

Blanche enjoyed sewing, reading books, and especially enjoyed spending time with her family.

In addition to her loving husband, Karl, Blanche is survived by her son, Michael Davis of Saint Thomas, VI; two grandchildren, Matthew Davis, and Kira (Davis) Whitmer; a great grandson, Kevin Whitmer; and three sisters, Judith Shull, Wanda Rubble, and Gail Shull.

Following cremation, graveside services will be held at a later date to be announced. Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery, Hanover, PA.
