Bonnie J. Margiottiello

Bonnie J. Margiottiello, 68, of Hanover, PA, entered God’s eternal care, Saturday, September 2, 2023, at the Dove House, Westminster, MD, with her loving family by her side.     

Born December 16, 1954, in Hampstead, MD, she was the daughter of the late William C. and Margaret D. (Shamer) Sheeley.  Bonnie was the loving wife of Albert Margiottiello with whom she shared 23 years of marriage.

Bonnie was a graduate of North Carroll High School, Hampstead, MD.  She worked as a secretary for Jos A. Banks Clothiers for over 25 years and later managed/owned the Dutch Country Restaurant for 5 years with her husband.

Bonnie was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Hanover, PA. She was also a member of the American Legion Post 200 (Hampstead, MD), and the Amici D’Italia Italian Club (Hanover chapter). 

Bonnie enjoyed gardening, baking, playing Mahjong, taking care of her dog and 2 cats, and spending time at their cabin in Fort Loudon, PA.

In addition to her loving husband Albert, Bonnie is survived by her daughter, Amy Summers and husband Bobby of Taneytown, MD, her stepchildren, Marie Mucci and husband Dave of Finksburg, MD, and Liz Polley and husband Rick of Pittsboro, NC, seven grandchildren: Adan Rhodes, Bryan Rhodes, Chelsea Rhodes, Zachary Summers, Hayley Summers, Erica Polley, and Caroline Polley, and one great-grandson, Asher Nelson. She is also survived by three siblings, Mary Price and husband Carroll of Upperco, MD, Cheryl Ford and husband Steve of Hanover, PA, and William R. Sheeley and wife Billie Jo of Finksburg, MD. 

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held, 11 AM, Friday, September 8, 2023, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 5225 Grandview Road, Hanover, PA, with Msgr. James Lyons as Celebrant.  Viewings and times to share memories with the family will be held from 6-8 PM,

Thursday, September 7, 2023, at the Kenworthy Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 269 Frederick Street, Hanover, PA, and from 10 – 11 AM, Friday, September 8, 2023, at the church.  Burial will be in St. Joseph Church Cemetery, Hanover, PA.
