Bruce L. Dayhoff, 73, of Hanover, PA, Entered God’s eternal care on Friday, November 1, 2024, at UPMC Hanover Hospital.
Born June 8, 1951, in Hanover, PA, he was the son of the late Laverne and Shirley (Mummert) Dayhoff. Bruce was the loving husband of Diane L. (Livelsberger) Dayhoff with whom he would have celebrated their 54th wedding anniversary in December 2024.
Bruce was a 1969 graduate of South Western High School and was a veteran of the Pennsylvania National Guard, a lifelong member of the NRA and a member of the Hanover Eagles Club.
Bruce worked beside his father in the family business, B&B Auto Sales from 1972 to 2018. He also was the owner operator of Pine Tree Firearms which he had for over 20 years.
In addition to his loving wife Diane, Bruce is survived by his daughters, Wendy Cover and husband Dwayne and Lisa Gross and husband Ron all of Hanover, PA, five grandchildren, Casey Smith, Zachary Cover, Abbey Cover, Isabella Langenfeld, and Savannah Helleis, one great grandson, Camden Cover and two more on the way, and one sister, Pamela Wolf of Hanover, PA.
A service to celebrate and remember Bruce’s life will be held 2 PM, Thursday, November 7, 2024, at the Kenworthy Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 269 Frederick Street, Hanover, PA, with Rev. Andrew Woods officiating. Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery, Hanover, PA. Visitations will be held from 6-8 PM, Wednesday, November 6, 2024, and from 1-2 PM, Thursday, November 7, 2024, at the funeral home.
