Camille C. Mendicino

Camille C. Mendicino, 81, of York, PA and formerly of Glenville, PA, entered God’s eternal care, Thursday, July 3, 2025, at the Senior Commons at Powder Mill, York, PA.

Born October 16, 1943, in Washington, D.C., she was the daughter of the late Clemens X. and Ruby L. (Halstead) Castle.  Camille was the loving wife of the late Peter A. Mendicino with whom she shared fifty-three and a half years of marriage, until his passing on November 2, 2018.

Camille retired from in 2000, having worked as medical assistant for many years.  She was a member of the American Sighthound Field Association, the IEEE, ISHM, Tortoise & Hare Lure Courses, the Mason Dixon Ibizan Hound Club, and the Upper Chesapeake Bay Saluki Club.

Camille is survived by her son, Peter A. Mendicino, Jr. and wife Robyn of Windsor, PA; three grandsons, Ryan, Eric and Jason; and two great grandsons, Francis and Jaxon. 

Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
