Carl J. Irwin, Jr.

Carl J. "CJ" Irwin, Jr., 48 of Hanover, PA, entered God's eternal care, Thursday, March 4, 2021 at his home.

Born October 30, 1972 in Gettysburg, he was son of Sarah J. "Sally"(Rohlfing) Irwin of Hanover and the late Carl J. Irwin, Sr.

CJ was a 1991 graduate of Littlestown High School, Littlestown, PA.  He was a member of Hanover Eagles and McSherrystown Moose.

CJ was an avid Penn State, Pittsburgh Steelers, and Baltimore Orioles fan.  He loved watching sports and political tv.  He loved his country very much and was proud to be an American.

In addition to his mother, CJ is survived by two sisters, Flo Storm and husband Randy of New Oxford, PA.  Catherine Dunkle and husband Dwight of Dillsburg, PA; nieces and nephews, Drew Irwin and wife Justine, Paige Ingber and husband Sam, Derek Miller and wife Victoria, Austin Storm and fiancée' Katerina, Victoria Lemmon, Ashley Barclay and husband Josh, Ryan Dunkle and fiancée' Paige, Lindsey and Ashley Dunkle; grandnieces and nephew, Nyla, Zoey, Amelia, Ari, Artemis, and Nolan.

Graveside service to celebrate and remember CJ's life will be held 1:00pm Friday, March 12th, 2021 at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens 1380 Chambersburg Rd. Gettysburg, PA 17325.

Pallbearers will be Drew Irwin, Derek Miller, Austin Storm, Ryan Dunkle, Sam Ingber, Tony Yingling and Justin Hippensteel.
