Carole A. Grimes

Carole J. Grimes, 63, of Hanover, PA, entered God’s eternal care Wednesday, April 1, 2026, at WellSpan York Hospital with her loving family by her side.

Born September 26, 1962, in Gettysburg, PA, she was the daughter of the late Mary Wol.  Carole was the loving wife of Marlin J. Grimes, Jr., with whom she shared 20 years of marriage. 

Carole was a member of the Hanover Home Association.  She loved walking her dog, watching football – she was a big Alabama fan, and enjoyed spending time with her friends and family.

In addition to her loving husband, Marlin, Carole is survived by two children, R. Scott Lieidy and Savanah K. Grimes; one grandson, Bennett; and a sister, Elizabeth Calaban.   

Following cremation, services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
