Cathy Krout

Cathy Krout, 66, of Gettysburg, PA, entered God’s eternal care Friday, September 11, 2026, at the Gettysburg Hospital with her loving family by her side.

Born May 19, 1960, in York, PA, she was the daughter of the late Anna Mae Linebaugh.

Cathy enjoyed watching tv and movies, always had music playing, and played cards every chance she got.

Cathy was known for her love and happiness and brought a smile to everyone’s face when around her, she was a very caring person that would do anything for anyone. 

Cathy is survived by her boyfriend, Jimmy Wakefield; two sons, Shannon L. Beck and fiancé Heather Dymond of Dillsburg, PA, and Michael R. Beck of Gettysburg, PA; and all her grandkids, William (Meredith) Beck, Nashawn Beard and girlfriend Maxx White, Davone Beard, Dustin Beard, Dagon Eshelman, Kayla Beck and boyfriend Les, and Leo Beck. 

Following cremation, services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
