Cecilia R. Weddle

Cecilia R. Weddle, 83, of Hanover, PA, entered God’s eternal care, Saturday, May 13, 2023, at the Seaton Springwood Nursing Center, York PA.

Born June 17, 1939, in Colombia, she was the daughter of the late Juan De Jesus Restrepo and Gertrudis Davila.  Cecilia  was the loving wife of the late Donald E. Weddle with whom she shared thirty-eight years of marriage until his passing on June 1, 2019. 

Cecilia was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Hanover, PA.  

Cecilia is survived by two step sons, Scott E. Weddle, and his wife Jill Glatfelter, of New Oxford, PA, and Matthew E. Weddle and his wife Vanessa, of Red Lion, PA;  five step grandchildren, Brittany Simoncini and husband Dan, Kirsten Weddle, Gaines Weddle, Ray Wilbert, and Aiyana Wilbert; four step great-grandchildren, Regan, Dylan, Braydan, and Jillian; two sisters, Ofelia Restrepo and Luzelena Restrepo.

A funeral service to celebrate and remember Cecilia will be held 11:00 AM, Friday, May 19, 2023, at the Kenworthy Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 269 Frederick Street, Hanover, PA, with Deacon Tom Aumen officiating.  Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery, Hanover, PA.  A viewing will be held from 10:00-11:00 AM, Friday, May 19, 2023, at the funeral home.
