Charles L. Hollingshead

Charles Louis Hollingshead, 67, of Hanover, PA, entered God's eternal care, January 20, 2021, at the WellSpan York Hospital with his loving family by his side.

Born May 29, 1953 in Bloomsburg, PA, he was the son of the late Burton and Clara Ann (Hauntzelman) Hollingshead.  Charles was the loving husband of Maria Cristina (Bucol) Hollingshead with whom he shared six years of marriage.

Charles graduated from Bloomsburg High School.  He worked as a truck driver and he also worked for the Geisinger Hospital maintenance department until his retirement. 

Charles played semi-pro football in his younger years.  He enjoyed fishing and hunting and spending time with his family.

In addition to his loving wife, Maria, Charles is survived by his children, Courtney Hollingshead, and Charles Hollingshead; one grandchild, Cathan Rune; and three siblings, Burton Hollingshead, Jr., Richard Hollingshead, and Pauline Haldeman.

Following cremation, services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
