Charles "Chuck" E. Cole, III

Charles “Chuck” Edward Cole III, 66, of Hanover, PA, entered God’s eternal care, Monday, November 8, 2021, at UPMC Hanover Hospital with his loving family by his side.

Born October 13, 1955, in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of Edythe S. “Sherry” (Reeves) Cole and the late Charles “Charlie” Edward Cole, Jr. Chuck was the loving husband of Constance “Connie” (Leist) Cole, with whom he shared 49 years of marriage.

Chuck attended Victory Baptist Church.

Chuck was a professional landscaper for thirty years. He was a member of the McSherrystown Fish and Game Association and enjoyed hunting and collecting decoys. He loved antiquing and was proud of his perfect straight mowing lines. Family was very important to him, affectionately called “Pap Paw,” he especially loved pretending with Bunky.

In addition to his loving wife, Connie, Chuck is survived by his children, Angela M. Cole and husband Don, and Charles “Chuck” Edward Cole IV and wife Suzanne; six grandchildren, Lauren “Weed” Stiner and husband Dave, Christian Cole and wife Gissel, Alexander Cole, Bunky Cole, B.J. Schildt, and Brandi Schildt; a great-granddaughter, Natalie; and four siblings, Debbie Buchman and husband Gary, Ronnie Cole and wife Michelle, Cheryl Walsh and husband Dave, and Louise Snyder and husband Bill; and many nieces and nephews.     

Following cremation, a memorial service will be held 11 AM, Tuesday, November 16, 2021, at Victory Baptist Church, 25 Breezewood Drive, Hanover, PA with Pastor Jason Myers and Pastor Gary Buchman officiating. The family will receive friends and share memories from 10-11 AM, Tuesday, November 16, 2021, at the church.
