Charles R. Griffith

Charles R. Griffith, 68, of Hanover, PA, entered God’s eternal care Thursday, August 7, 2025, at home with his loving family by his side.

Born January 4, 1957, in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of the late Charles R. and Barbara E. (Brewer) Griffith.  Charles was the loving husband of Lori L. (Pickett) Griffith, with whom he shared 20 years of marriage.

Charles worked for Keith D. Smith Concrete for eighteen years.  He worked for the railroad, and as a truck driver earlier in his career.

Charles was a former member of the Hanover Eagles.

Charles enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and children, fishing, hunting, trains, and antique collecting.

In addition to his loving wife, Lori, Charles is survived by his children, Holly Griffith of Hanover, PA, Heather and her husband Matt of West Virginia, Charlene and her husband Owen of West Virginia; a stepson, Robie Leese, Jr. and his wife Kristin of Hanover, PA; six grandchildren, Zane, Ethan, Jakob, Logan, Chase, and Justin; three step-grandchildren, Harper, Wyatt, and Hudson; three great-grandchildren, Za’ria, Wesley, and Allison; and two brothers, Dan Griffith of Hanover, PA, and Jason Griffith of Ohio.

Following cremation, a visitation and time to share memories with the family will be held from 1:00-3:00PM, Saturday, August 23, 2025, at the Kenworthy Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 269 Frederick Street, Hanover, PA.
