Charlotte L. Yingling

Charlotte L. Yingling, 96, entered into God's eternal care Friday, March 7, 2025, at Homewood at Plum Creek, Hanover, PA.  She was the loving wife of the late Clyde H. Yingling, to whom she was married for 60 years until his passing on October 12, 2006. 

Born October 16, 1928, in Stewartstown, PA, she was the daughter of the late William Shenberger and Florence (Ness) Shenberger Luckenbaugh.  

Charlotte was a member of Grace Church of Hanover. 

Charlotte enjoyed family gatherings, attending church, doing crossword puzzles, and was a devoted wife and mother.  She was a great cook and the family baker, known especially for her pies.

Charlotte is survived by one son, Ronald E. and his wife, Shirley A. (Ambrosius) Yingling of Spring Grove; one daughter, Diann L. and her husband, Rodney L. Rosenzweig of Spring Grove; four grandchildren, Anthony Yingling of Raleigh, NC, Nichole Hinkle of Spring Grove, and Ginger Miller, and Matthew Yingling, both of Hanover; 12 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her siblings, Curtis Shenberger, Robert Shenberger, Murry Shenberger, Pauline Weir, Viola Luckenbaugh, Dorothy Ruth, Romaine Latchaw, Almeda Becker, and Margie Senft.

A funeral service to celebrate and Remember Charlotte’s life will be held at 11 AM Wednesday, March 12, 2025, at Grace Church of Hanover, 55 Albright Drive, Hanover, with her pastor, the Rev. Todd A. Christine officiating. Burial will be in St. Paul (Dub's) Church Cemetery, Hanover. Visitation will be held from 10 to 11 AM, Wednesday, March 12, 2025, at the church.
