Cheryl Ann Dickensheets

Cheryl Ann Dickensheets, 65, of Hanover, PA, entered God’s eternal care Sunday, October 8, 2023, at her home. 

Born May 25, 1958, in York, PA, she was the daughter of the late James E. Henry and the late Joyce L. (Mundis) Wolfe. Cheryl was the loving companion of Barry F. Dewees with whom she shared over 30 years.  

Cheryl graduated class of 1976 from William Penn Senior High School in York, PA.

Cheryl is survived by children, Jennifer L. Harris and husband Michael T. Harris of Glenville, PA, Alice A. Dewees of Hanover, PA and Jennifer L. Hollinger of York Springs, PA, five grandchildren, Autumn and Brent Harris of Glenville, PA, Allie and Cameron McFadden of Hanover, PA, and Seth Hollinger of York Springs, PA. She also leaves behind her siblings Barry Henry of York, PA, James B. Henry of Hanover, PA, Jay Henry of York, PA, Michael E. Henry of York, PA, and Elizabeth Jane Bower of Manchester, PA. Cheryl was preceded in death by her sister Kay L. Moser.

Cheryl enjoyed spending time with her loving family.

Following cremation, services will be private and at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made in Cheryl’s name to Zion Bible Church, 1550 N. East Street, York, PA 17406.
