Clyde D. Zumbrum, 88, of Spring Grove, PA, entered God’s eternal care Sunday, November 24, 2024, at the Hanover Hall Nursing Center.
Born December 19, 1935, in Brodbecks, PA, he was the son of the late Cletus G. & Lizzy M. (Wolfgang) Zumbrum. Clyde was husband of the late Emma J. (Menges) Zumbrum, and the loving companion of Cathy Zumbrum of Hanover, PA.
Clyde attended the Zumbrum School in Brodbecks, PA. He was a cabinet maker with Hanover Made Furniture for 10 years, a chain welder with Teledyne McKay Chain in York, PA for 18 years, a cable extruder for BICC Brand-Rex Cable Co., York, PA, for 10 years, and a stock clerk at Weis Markets of Hanover for 20 years.
Clyde attended Victory Baptist Church, Hanover, PA.
Clyde enjoyed woodworking, carpentry, hunting, working on cars, and attending gospel concerts.
Clyde is survived by his son Dennis Zumbrum and wife Sharon of Littlestown, PA; one grandson, Anthony Zumbrum and wife Jessica; three great-grandchildren, Blake, Ava, and Aria Zumbrum; and his siblings, Thelma Bossom of Hanover, PA, Larry Zumbrum of Spring Grove, PA, Barbara Jessee of Simpsonville, SC, Burnell Zumbrum of Spring Grove, PA, Linda Snyder of Hanover, PA, Brenda Greiner of Thomasville, PA, and Diane Rosenberry of Gettysburg, PA. He was preceded in death by a sister, Delores Fuhrman.
A service to celebrate and remember Clyde will be held 11AM, Tuesday, December 3, 2024, at the Kenworthy Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 269 Frederick Street, Hanover, PA, with Pastor Jason Myers officiating. Burial will be in Marburg Memorial Gardens, Hanover, PA. A visitation and time to share memories with the family will be held from 10-11AM, Tuesday, December 3, 2024, at the funeral home.
