Curvin L. “Butch” Dubs, II, 82, formerly of York, PA, entered into God’s eternal care on Tuesday, April 8, 2025, at the Homewood at Plum Creek Nursing Center, Hanover PA, surrounded by his loving family.
Born March 22, 1943, in Hanover, PA, he was the son of the late C. Levere and Carita (Breighner) Dubs. Butch was the loving husband of the late Debra K. (Patterson) Dubs who died on May 10, 2019.
Butch was a graduate of Delone Catholic High School. He was the service manager for York Chrysler Plymouth & Kia for 43 years until his retirement and then worked part time at Briarwood Golf Course for many years.
Butch was an avid golfer, coached youth baseball and football, and loved spending time with his family.
Butch is survived by five children, Kimberley A. Kenworthy and husband Brad, and David A. Dubs, all of Hanover, PA, Daniel A. Dubs and wife Lisa of New Oxford, PA, and Douglas A. Dubs and wife Amber, and Dru A. Dubs and wife Jeanne all of Hanover, PA; one step son, Ricky Peters; ten grandchildren, Zach Kenworthy and wife Maranda, Lexie Poe and husband Jeremy, Taylor Smith and husband Kyle, Hayley Penn and husband Josh, Lauren Dubs, Ryan Dubs, Nathan Dubs, Owen Dubs, Aria Dubs, and Dreyden Dubs; two step grandchildren, Allison and Ricky Peters, five great-grandchildren, Dawson, Isla, Killian, Bryson, and Bennett; and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Patricia Brady and Rebecca Markel.
Funeral Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
