Daniel L. "Stormie" Storm

Daniel Lee Storm “Stormie”, 67, of Hanover, PA, entered God’s eternal care, Saturday, November 27, 2021, at UPMC Community Osteopathic Hospital, Harrisburg, PA.

Born February 12, 1954, in Hanover, PA, he was the son of the late Clark and Jenny (Kress) Storm.  Daniel was the loving husband of Vickie Lee (Sprenkle) Storm with whom he shared forty-eight years of marriage.

Daniel attended the former Foursquare Gospel Church, Hanover, PA.  He was a member of the Hanover Fraternal Order of Eagles - Aerie #1406, Hanover VFW Post 2506, American Legion Post #14, Hanover, PA, the Hanover AMVETS Post #22, and the Hanover Home Association. 

Daniel had a passion for street rods and motorcycles. He loved to always be busy, whether that be drawing, painting, or building/working on his cars.  He Enjoyed taking his cars to car shows, and going for drives. He loved spending time with his children, grandchildren, and great- granddaughter.

Daniel was self-employed with his wife since 1994, with their business Pretzel Lady. Previously he worked at Vintage Specialties, painting street rods.

In addition to his loving wife, Vickie, Daniel is survived by his children, David L. Storm and wife Kimberly of Hanover, PA, and Mandi L. Hamm and husband Bob of New Oxford, PA; three grandchildren, Ashley DeJesus and husband Leo, Mackenzie Storm, and Lily Hamm; and a great granddaughter, Brynlee DeJesus.  He was preceded in death by his brothers, Joseph and Donald Storm; and a sister, Barbie Storm.

A service to celebrate and remember Daniel will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, December 3, 2021, at the Kenworthy Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 269 Frederick Street, Hanover, PA, with Pastor Kevin Orewiler officiating.  A viewing and time to share memories with the family will be held from 6:00-8:00 PM, Thursday, December 2, 2021, and from 10:00-11:00 AM, Friday, December 3, 2021, at the funeral home.  Following cremation, burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
