Darlene J. Short

Darlene J. Short, 76, of Hanover, PA, entered God’s eternal care on Sunday, May 5, 2024, at home with her loving family by her side.

Born January 28, 1948, in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of the late David W. Burket and Almeda B. (Rabenstein) Kuhn.  Darlene was the loving wife of the late Ronald B. Short, with whom she shared 57 years of marriage.

Darlene is survived by four children, Connie Johnson of Hanover, PA, Ronald Short, Jr. of Catawba, SC, Lisa Olson of Kearney, NE, and Daniel Short of Hanover, PA; ten grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Following cremation, services will be private and at the convenience of her family.  Inurnment will be with her late husband in Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, VA.
