David W. Stonesifer

David W. Stonesifer, 62, of Hanover, PA, entered into God’s eternal care, Monday, December 23, 2024, at his home with his loving family by his side.

Born August 9, 1962, in Hanover, PA, he was the son of Mark W. and Linda A. (Rahn) Stonesifer.

David was a 1981 graduate of Hanover High School.  He worked as a custodian for Hanover Wire Cloth/New York Wire for 43 years without ever missing a day.

David was a member of Sacred Heart Basilica, Hanover, PA.  He enjoyed fishing and he prayed every day. At a young age, David earned his Black Belt at So’s TaeKwonDo, Hanover, PA.

In addition to his parents, David is survived by a brother, Douglas M. Stonesifer and wife Melanie of Hanover, PA, and two nieces, Joy and Molly Stonesifer.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 AM, Monday, December 30, 2024, at Sacred Heart Basilica, 30 Basilica Drive, Hanover, PA, with Father Dwight Schlaline as celebrant. The burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Hanover, PA.  A visitation will be held from 10 – 11 AM, Monday, December 30, 2024, at the church.
