Deborah M. Zinn

Deborah M. Zinn, 73, of Glenville, PA, entered into God’s eternal care on Saturday, June 13, 2026, at the UPMC Hanover Hospital with her loving family by her side.

Born July 17, 1952, in Hanover, PA, she was the daughter of the late James E. and Betty L. (Myers) Smith.  Deborah was the loving wife of Edward R. Zinn with whom she shared 54 years of marriage.

Deborah was a 1970 graduate of Delone Catholic High School.  She was the Office Manager for DACCO Erectors for 38 years until her retirement in November 2024.

Deborah was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Hanover, PA.  She enjoyed gardening, shopping, watching the Orioles, baking, spending time with family and bragging about her kids, grandkids, and granddogs.

In addition to her husband Edward, Deborah is survived by her children, Todd E. Zinn and significant other Melissa of Thomasville, PA, Holly A. Plesic and husband Richard III of Hanover, PA, two grandchildren, Richard Plesic IV and Alexis Plesic, and her siblings, Brenda Hull and husband Gary of New Oxford, PA, Victoria Walter of McSherrystown, PA, Patricia Smith of Hanover, PA, Judy Gebhart of Chepachet, RI, Randy Smith of McSherrystown, PA and Joseph Smith of Orrtanna, PA.  She was preceded in death by a brother James Smith.

A service to celebrate and remember Deborah’s life will be held at 11 AM, Wednesday, July 8, 2026, at the Kenworthy Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 269 Frederick Street, Hanover, PA with Father Michael Rothan officiating.  Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.  The family will receive friends from 10 – 11 AM, Wednesday, July 8, 2026, at the funeral home.
