Donald H. Leppo, 82, of Hanover, PA, entered into God’s eternal care, Wednesday, June 8, 2022, at UPMC Hanover with his loving family by his side
Born August 25, 1939, in Hanover, he was the son of the late Robert S. and Romaine H. (Barnhart) Leppo. Donald was the loving husband of the late Mary E. (Hahn) Leppo with whom he shared 57 years of marriage until her passing on November 27, 2013
Donald was a 1957 Hanover High School graduate. He retired after 37 years of service as an electrician for the IBEW Local 229
Donald was a member of St. David’s United Church of Christ, Hanover, PA, and the Hanover Elks Lodge #763.
Donald enjoyed traveling, family vacations to the Outer Banks, but most especially being with his family and attending his grandchildren and great grandchildren’s events.
Donald is survived by two daughters, Sheri Berwager and husband, Timothy, and Trudy Zepp and fiancé, John Utermahlen, III, all of Hanover; two sons, Scott Leppo and wife, Beverly of Spring Grove, and Brian Leppo and wife, Diana of Hanover; 11 grandchildren, Carolina, Ella and Abby Leppo, Andrew, Shawn, Travis, and Jonathan Berwager, Danielle and Brady Leppo, and Kelly and Chad Zepp; sixteen great-grandchildren; and one sister, Janet Maloney of Hanover, PA
A service to remember and celebrate Donald’s life will be held, 11 AM, Tuesday, June 14, 2022, at St. David’s United Church of Christ, 142 Hobart Road, Hanover, PA, with his Pastor the Rev. Scott A. Sager officiating. Burial will be in Christ United Church of Christ Cemetery, Littlestown, PA. Viewings and times to share memories with the family will be held from 6-8 PM, Monday, June 13, 2022, at St. David’s United Church of Christ, 142 Hobart Road, Hanover, PA as well as one hour prior to the service on Tuesday, June 14, 2022, at the church
