Donna M. Plunkert, 74, of Littlestown, PA, entered into God’s eternal care Saturday, June 14, 2025, at her home with her loving family by her side.
Born April 26, 1951, in Hanover, PA, she was the daughter of the late Norman F. and Rada M. (Snyder) Dickensheets. Donna was the loving wife of the late Bruce H. Plunkert with whom she shared 49 years of marriage until his passing on May 6, 2025.
Donna was a 1969 graduate of Littlestown High School. She worked as a salesclerk and secretary for Colonial Fair in Hanover for 6 years until 1974, then as a secretary and customer service person at Norms Auction for many years, and she was a partner with her husband in the Old Buttermould Pattern Products for 32 years.
Donna was a member of Hanover Church of the Brethren. She enjoyed playing cards, talking on the phone, antiquing, collecting butter molds, and spending time with her loving family.
Donna is survived by one son, Gabriel “Gabe” B. Plunkert of Littlestown, PA, 2 grandchildren, Ashley E. Luckabaugh and Victoria C. Hippensteel; 3 great grandchildren, Mason A. Snell, Lillian T. Hippensteel, and Harrison T. Hippensteel, with one on the way; three brothers, Philip N. Dickensheets and wife Bonnie, Randy J. Dickensheets and wife Dianne of Hanover, PA; and Ray L. Dickensheets and wife Deb of East Berlin, PA; two sisters-in-law, Patricia L. Dickensheets and Jan P. Sweigart and husband Mark; and numerous nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother, Gary F. Dickensheets, her daughter-in-law, Kristy L. Plunkert, her great grandchild, Lincoln T. Hippensteel and her brother-in-law, Drew Plunkert.
A funeral service to celebrate and remember Donna’s life will be held 11 AM, Thursday, June 19, 2025, at the Kenworthy Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 269 Frederick Street, Hanover, PA, with the Rev. Mark Bowyer officiating. Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery, Hanover, PA. A visitation will be held from 6-8 PM, Wednesday, June 18, 2025, at the funeral home.
