Doris L. Saltzgiver passed away on February 22, 2026. Born on April 6, 1941, to the late Levi and Emma (Albright) Wildasin, she was the third of their four daughters. Doris graduated from Susquehannock High School in 1959, the same year she married her husband, Larry L. (Butch) Saltzgiver.
She is survived by her husband, Butch, her two daughters, Donna Baumgardner (Husband Charles) and Laurie Saltzgiver (Husband Gavin Mutter), three grandsons, Adam Baumgardner, Eric Baumgardner, Britton Mutter, great-grandson Nicholas Baumgardner and her sister Ruby McKnight, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Doris was a wonderful Mother and hard worker who loved to do things with and for her family. She was happiest when cleaning and organizing her family’s homes. Always peppy and on the move, she had a great sense of humor and loved to talk, laugh and have fun. She enjoyed the outdoors and could be found outside at any time of day planting flowers, raking leaves, mowing the lawn, or playing in the snow.
Doris was an active member of St. David’s Lutheran Church in Hanover.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday February 28, 2026, at St. David’s Lutheran Church – 1032 Musselman Rd. Hanover, PA 17331. Visitation will be held at 10:00 am with Services at 11:00 and internment at St. David’s cemetery. Immediately thereafter, a luncheon will be held at the church for family and friends.
