Earl R. Menchey, 96, of Hanover, PA, died on Monday, August 28, 2023, at Homewood at Plum Creek Nursing Center, Hanover, PA.
Born August 18, 1927, in Hanover, PA, he was the son of the late Ephraim and Emma (Sell) Menchey. Earl was the loving husband of Edith M. (Dubs) Menchey with whom he shared 75 years of marriage.
Earl was a veteran and served his country proudly in the United States Marine Corps. After his Honorable Discharge from the Marines, he worked for Narrow Ribbon Mills, R.H. Sheppard, and Menchey Music.
In addition to his loving wife Edith, Earl is survived by three children, Delphine Rebert and Carol Kessel, both of Hanover, PA, and Lee Menchey of New Hampshire; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother, J. Robert Menchey.
Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
