Eddie D. Buchanan

Eddie Dean Buchanan, 63, of Abbottstown, PA, entered God's eternal care, Monday, June 28, 2021, at his home with his loving family by his side.

Born October 25, 1957, in Bakersville, NC, he was the son of Daniel and Beulah (Gardner) Buchanan.  Eddie was the loving husband of Karen R. (Pruett) Buchanan with whom he shared 31 years of marriage.

Eddie worked in masonry and construction for many years.  He loved going to the races, and liked street rods, especially his fast Chevy’s.  Eddie loved spending time with his family and going to car shows and flea markets.

In addition to his loving wife, Karen, Eddie is survived by his children, Travis Buchanan of Abbottstown, PA, Matthew Buchanan of Glen Rock, PA, and Jessica Friberg of Texas; three grandchildren, Saylor, Marcus, and Collin; and three siblings. 

A funeral service will be held 7:00 PM, Friday, July 2, 2021, at the Kenworthy Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 269 Frederick Street, Hanover, PA.  A viewing will be held from 5:00-7:00 PM, Friday, June 2, 2021, at the funeral home.  Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
