Elvin G. Molison

Elvin G. Molison, 87, of Hanover, PA, entered God’s eternal care Thursday, February 13, 2025, at home with his loving family by his side.

Born April 12, 1937, in York, PA, he was the son of the late Glen and Hazel (Cook) Molison.  Elvin was the loving husband of the late Irene M. (Rodgers) Molison, with whom he shared 63 years of marriage until her passing on April 23, 2020.

Elvin was a member of Hanover Church of the Brethren, Hanover, PA. 

Elvin was a graduate of Spring Grove High School.  He was a life-long self-employed farmer. 

Elvin is survived by two children, Laura J. Church and husband Abe, and John E. Molison, all of Hanover, PA; three grandchildren, Rhiannon, Abram, and Brittany; and a brother, Robert Molison of Hanover, PA.      

A funeral service to celebrate and remember Elvin will be held 10:30AM, Friday, February 21, 2025, at the Kenworthy Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 269 Frederick Street, Hanover, PA, with his Pastor, the Rev. Mark Bowyer officiating.  Burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Hanover, PA.  A visitation and time to share memories with the family will be held from 9:30AM-10:30AM, Friday, February 21, 2025, at the funeral home.
