Emma J. Wolf

Emma Jane Wolf, 60, of Abbottstown, PA, entered God’s eternal care, Thursday, November 9, 2023, at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, PA.

Born November 16, 1962, Harrisburg, PA, Emma was daughter of Lamar and Barbara (Deppen) Walborn. Emma was the loving wife of Rodney M. Wolf, with whom she shared 32 years of marriage.

Emma graduated from Upper Dauphin High School in 1980. Later, she attended Harrisburg Area Community College, earning her Bachelor of Arts.

Emma was a veteran and served her country proudly in the U.S. Army. Emma was a financial specialist for the U.S. Navy Depot in Mechanicsburg, PA, for 37 years until her retirement in May 2018.

Emma enjoyed spending time with her granddaughter, Ava. She also loved playing Bingo and taking trips to the cabin or to the ocean.

In addition to her husband, Rodney, Emma is survived by her two children, Rodney A. Wolf of Abbottstown, PA, and his fiancé Kendra Shipley, and Courtney G. (Wolf) Rahe and her husband John of Hanover, PA, one granddaughter Ava G. Rahe, and her siblings, Diane (Walborn) Mansell, Glenn Walborn, Charlie Walborn, and Dennis Walborn.

A service to celebrate and remember Emma’s life will be 5 PM, Friday, November 17, 2023, at the Kenworthy Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 269 Frederick Street, Hanover, PA 17331. The Hanover Allied Veterans Honor Guard will present military honors. A viewing and time to share memories with the family will be held from 3 PM to 5 PM, Friday, November 17, 2023, at the funeral home.
