Erma M. Price

Erma Marie Price, 90, of Hanover, PA, entered God’s eternal care Tuesday, August 27, 2024, at Lehigh Commons, Macungie, PA.

Born August 31, 1933, in Gettysburg, PA, Erma was the daughter of the late Raymond P. and Janet M. (Feeser) Spangler.  She shared 55 years of marriage with the late Harold C. “Bud” Price, who predeceased her in 2010, and was a loving mother to her daughter Crystal.

She was a member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church, Hanover, PA, and worked as a bookkeeper for Hanover Cable Company for many years.

Erma’s greatest pleasure in life was always her family, and spending time with them gave her much joy. She enjoyed walks on the beach, cooking, and gardening, and was an expert seamstress – all skills lovingly shared with her daughter Crystal.

Erma is survived by her daughter, Crystal M. Klein of Emmaus, PA; and two granddaughters, Dr. Nicole King and husband Christopher, and Victoria Klein. 

A funeral service to celebrate and remember Erma will be held 11AM, Tuesday, September 3, 2024, at the Kenworthy Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 269 Frederick Street, Hanover, PA, with Rev. Faye C. Snyder officiating.  Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery, Hanover, PA.  A visitation and time to share memories with the family will be held from 10-11AM, Tuesday, September 3, 2024, at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Erma’s name to St. Matthew Lutheran Church, 30 West Chestnut Street, Hanover, PA 17331.
