Estie May Luckenbaugh

Estie May (Wonder) Luckenbaugh, 81, of Glen Rock, PA, entered God’s eternal care, Monday, March 21, 2022, at the ProMedica Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Dallastown, PA. 

Born June 6, 1940, in Hanover, PA, she was the daughter of the late George and Bertha (Toomey) Wonder.  Estie was the loving wife of the late Howard G. Luckenbaugh with whom she shared sixty-one years of marriage until his passing on January 10, 2020.   

Estie was a member of Hanover Church of Christ and enjoyed volunteering in the church food bank.

Estie retired from being a garment worker after many years of service in a variety of local sewing factories.

Estie is survived by her children, Karen Luckenbaugh of York, PA, Pam Meyer and husband Keith of York, PA, and Ron Luckenbaugh and wife Cathy of Seven Valleys, PA; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; and one brother, Daniel Wonder, Sr.  She was preceded in death by a grandchild, Heather Stair; 2 sisters, and 7 brothers. 

A graveside service will be held 11:00 AM, Friday, March 25, 2022, at Marburg Memorial Gardens, 2510 Grandview Road, Hanover, PA, with Pastor Gidel Perez officiating.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Hanover Church of Christ, 1560 Wanda Drive, Hanover, PA 17331.
