Ethel Mae Fuhrman, 91, of Hanover, PA, entered into God's eternal care, Tuesday, May 31, 2022, at UPMC Hanover Hospital with her loving family by her side.
Born May 13, 1931, in Hanover, PA, she was the daughter of the late Claude P. and Mollie J. (Stump) Klinedinst. Ethel was the loving wife of the late Kenneth W. Fuhrman who died October 2, 2001.
Ethel was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Hanover, PA.
Ethel worked as a cashier at Sears Department Store for many years. She enjoyed reading, crafts, cooking, and spending time with her family.
Ethel is survived by her daughter, Sharon Saltzgiver Bortner of Hanover, PA, her sons, James Fuhrman of Rockton, IL, and Barry Fuhrman of Hanover, PA; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by four sisters, Miriam Hamme, Iona Krone, Florence Lightner, and Grace Harris, and seven brothers, Claude J. Klinedinst, Allen S. Klinedinst, Charles Klinedinst, Elwood Klinedinst, Earl Klinedinst, Norman Klinedinst, and William Klinedinst.
A memorial service to celebrate and remember Ethel will be held 11:00 AM, Tuesday, June 7, 2022, at the Kenworthy Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 269 Frederick Street, Hanover, PA, with her Pastor, the Rev. E. Robert Burkhart officiating. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family in Marburg Memorial Gardens, Hanover, PA. The family will receive friends and share memories from 10 -11 AM, Tuesday, June 7, 2022, at the funeral home.
