Florence M. Little

Florence Marie Little, 96, of New Oxford, PA, entered God’s eternal care on Friday, May 6, 2022, at WellSpan York Hospital.

Born February 7, 1926, in Adams County, PA, she was the daughter of the late Clayton N. & Rose M. (Laughman) Myers.  She was the loving wife to James R. Little until his death on September 19, 1997.

Florence enjoyed hiking at Caledonia State Park and the Appalachian Trail. She also liked going to teas, and to the casinos at Charleston and Hollywood. Most of all, she enjoyed traveling and spending time with her late husband, Jim.

Florence is survived by her children, Sandra K. Aldinger & husband John of York, PA, and Gary Little; 2 grandchildren, Lori Braasch and Monique Jensen; 3 great-grandchildren, Dylan Braasch, Kadi Ruby, and Alexis Rohach; and 4 great-great-grandchildren, Bennett Braasch, Baylor Braasch, Ellie Ruby, and Maverick Ruby. Florence also leaves behind a brother, Clayton Myers, Jr. She was preceded in death by one great-grandchild, Brandi Braasch, and 3 siblings, Merle Myers, Warren Myers, and Margaret Starner.

A graveside service to celebrate and remember Florence’s life will be held at 11:00 AM, Thursday, May 12, 2022, at Rest Haven Cemetery, Hanover, PA, with the Reverend Millie Baker officiating.
