Florence M. Crawford

Florence M. Crawford, 95, of Hanover, PA, entered God’s eternal care, Wednesday, February 4, 2026, at home with her loving family by her side.

Born October 26, 1930, in Manchester, MD, she was the daughter of the late John D. and Erma M. (Winand) Coker.  Florence was the loving wife of the late Robert D. Crawford, Sr., with whom  she shared 63 years of marriage until his passing on August 31, 2018.    

Florence was a member of Black Rock Church of the Brethren, Glenville, PA.

Florence enjoyed knitting, sewing, gardening, birdwatching, and watching her grandchildren.

Florence is survived by her children, Donna L. Adams and husband Dwight of Sherrills Ford, NC, Denise A. Fake, Robert D. Crawford, Jr. and wife Mary, and Thomas A. Crawford and wife Joan, all of Hanover, PA; nine grandchildren, Justin Adams, Juel Boes, Jarrod Adams, R. Kyle Fake, Kayla Fake Palmer, Chelsey Bostic, Luke Crawford, Lemuel Crawford and Emily Crawford; fourteen great-grandchildren, Ryan, Laine (Gabby), Keilan, Kiera, Karson, Eli, Olivia, Isabel, Riley, Miles, Ivy, Elijah, Sara, and Ruby; and one sister, Chrystelle “Tootie” Strausbaugh. She was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Reuhl S. “Rudy” Fake, a grandson, Preston Reese, and a sister, Phyllis Miller.   

Services to celebrate and remember Florence will be held 11AM, Wednesday, February 11, 2026, at the Kenworthy Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 269 Frederick Street, Hanover, PA with her Pastor the Rev. Brandon Grady, and her nephew, Deacon Tony Miller officiating. Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery, Hanover, PA.  A visitation will be held from 10-11 AM, Wednesday, February 11, 2026 at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Florence’s name to the Black Rock Church of the Brethren, 3864 Glenville Road, Glenville, PA 17329.
