Frances A. (Sneeringer) Clabaugh, 90, of Hanover, PA entered God’s eternal care on Thursday, May 14, 2026.

Born September 25, 1935, in Bonneauville, PA, she was the daughter of the late Raymond J. and Eunice M. (Gordon) Sneeringer. Frances was the loving wife of the late James Anthony Clabaugh with whom she shared 68 years of marriage until his passing June 25, 2022.

Frances attended Delone Catholic High School. She worked in Retail Sales Management at So Fro Fabrics and also Bubb’s Bootery, and Treasures of Hanover.

Frances was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, Hanover, PA.

Frances was a den mother and a girls’ cheerleading coach at St. Vincent’s, and supported both her daughters during their time competing in Drum Majorettes of America.

Frances is survived by her children, Craig Clabaugh of Hanover, PA, Chad Clabaugh of Rehoboth Beach, DE, Maxine Hass of Palmyra, PA, and Maureen Shaffer of Hanover, PA; 10 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 1:30 pm, Tuesday, May 26, 2026, at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 220 Third Street, Hanover, PA, with Father Michael Reed, II, and Father Joseph Gotwalt as celebrants. A visitation will be held from 12 - 1:30 pm, Tuesday, May 26, 2026, at the church. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
