Frank Maggio

Frank Maggio, 90, entered God's eternal care, Friday, January 5, 2024, at UPMC Hanover Hospital.

Born April 10, 1933, in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of the late Thomas and Maria (Maggio) Maggio. Frank was the loving husband of the late Ann T. (Bieller) Fogler and the late Dorothy L. (Scott) Maggio.

Mr. Maggio was a bus driver for the Maryland Transit Authority for over 28 years until his retirement.  He was a veteran of the United States Army having served his country proudly during the Korean Conflict.

Frank was an avid Baltimore Ravens and Orioles fan. He also loved working with his hands.  He could fix anything, and his many talents included home maintenance and remodeling, bicycle repair, car repair etc. 

Frank is survived by three children, Debra A. Buchta of Ellicott City, MD, Paul T. Maggio of Myrtle Beach, SC and Vincent M. Maggio of Hanover, PA, three step children, Jeanie L. Frantz, Anna E. Diggs, and Stacy D. Miller, 9 step grandchildren; 7 step great grandchildren; and one sister, Catherine Clark.  He was preceded in death by one step son, Eugene D. Miller, III, and two siblings, Philip Maggio, and Providence McCauley.

Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery, Hanover.
