Frank W. Swayze, III

Frank W. Swayze, III, 77, of Hanover, PA, entered God’s eternal care, Wednesday, October 16, 2024, at home with his loving family by his side. 

Born November 6, 1946, in New Jersey, he was the son of the late Frank W., II and Virginia (Mushert) Swayze.  Frank was the loving companion of Susan E. (Little) Potter.

Frank was a 1963 graduate of Biglerville High School.  He was a life-long and self-employed roofer and home improvement handyman.

Frank was a member of the Hanover AmVets and a former member of the McSherrystown Moose.

In addition to his loving companion, Susan, Frank is survived by his son, Patrick W. Swayze of York, PA; and two sisters, Carol Fell and Lynn Dolly.  He was preceded in death by a son, Frank Wilson Swayze IV; and a sister, Joan Troy.

Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.

Memorial contributions may be made in Frank’s name in memory of his son, Frank IV, to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
