Freddie Lee Loudermilk, 86, of Gettysburg, PA, entered into God’s eternal care on Sunday, February 2, 2025, at the North York Stilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. York, PA surrounded by his loving family.
Born December 14, 1938, in Section, AL, he was the son of the late Edley and Eunice L. (Childress) Loudermilk. Freddie was the loving husband of Shirley V. (Raynor) Loudermilk with whom he shared 62 years of marriage.
Mr. Loudermilk worked as a truck driver for Crown Central Petroleum for 23 years until his retirement.
Mr. Loudermilk was a member of Mountain Top Ministries, Orrtanna, PA. He enjoyed camping, riding his motorcycle, tinkering with cars and especially spending time with his boys.
In addition to his loving wife Shirley, Freddie is survived by his sons, Robert L. Loudermilk and wife Sandra, James L. Loudermilk and wife Jeanie and Brian L. Loudermilk and his wife Tara, five grandchildren, DeAnna and Husband Daniel Paine, Kya, Rhiannon, Bryan and Kiara, two great grandchildren, Anastasia and Kyrie, and his sibling, Jerry Loudermilk. He is preceded in death by his Brothers and Sisters, Mary Jo Boatner, Wayne Loudermilk, Gene Loudermilk, LD Loudermilk, and Edith Quinn.
Visitation will be held from 6-8 PM, Thursday, February 6, 2025, at the Kenworthy Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 269 Frederick Street Hanover, PA. A service to celebrate and remember Freddie’s life will be held 11 AM, Friday, February 7, 2025, at the funeral home, with Rev. Ron Parr Officiating. The burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery, Hanover, PA.
