Gale L. Leslie

Gale L. Leslie, 86, of Union Bridge, MD and formerly of Littlestown, PA, entered God’s eternal care, Friday, July 4, 2025, at the Dove House, Westminster, MD with his loving family by his side.

Born September 10, 1938, in Dorchester, Wisconsin, he was the son of the late Samuel and Gertrude (Lueddeke) Leslie.  Gale was married to his high school sweetheart, the late Margaret A. (McClone) Leslie and the late Patricia J. (Taylor) Leslie.    

Gale served his country proudly in the United States Navy.  He was a computer programmer with the Department of Defense until his retirement.

Gale enjoyed country music, horseback riding, watching the old western movies and shows, drinking his beer, reading, loved to gather with family and friends at cookouts, traveling and he loved playing on his computer.

Gale is survived by his children, Butch Leslie, Lisa Mahoney, and Steven Leslie; six grandchildren; and 6 great grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by one son, Timothy “Tim” James Leslie; his brother, Warren Leslie; and his sister, Renota Nelson.

Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
