Genevieve A. Strausbaugh

Genevieve A. Strausbaugh, 89, formerly of Littlestown, PA, entered into God's eternal care, Tuesday, April 11, 2023, at Seaton Springwood Assisted Living & Memory Care Center, York, PA, with her loving family by her side.

Born February 28, 1934, in Taneytown, MD, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Mildred (Wantz) Barnhart.  She was the loving wife of the late Glen C. Strausbaugh, with whom she shared 60 years of marriage until his passing on November 14, 2012.

Mrs. Strausbaugh retired from the Littlestown School District with over ten years of service.  She was an accomplished seamstress, enjoyed crocheting, camping with her husband, and loved spending time with her great grandchildren.

Genevieve is survived by her daughters, Linda Rinehart of Hanover, PA, and Sharon Crouse and husband Edward of Littlestown, PA; a grandson, Brad Strausbaugh, and wife Jessica; six great-grandchildren, Callie, Boden, Shepard, Colum, Baya, and Sonny Strausbaugh. She was predeceased by three brothers, Albert, Larry, and Rodney Barnhart. 

Following cremation, a Graveside Service will be held 11:00AM, Tuesday, April 18, 2023, at Marburg Memorial Gardens, 2510 Grandview Road, Hanover, PA, with Rev. Sterling Fritz officiating,
