Glenn D. Miller, 90, of Littlestown, PA, entered God’s eternal care on Tuesday, September 5, 2023, at home with his loving family by his side.
Born August 16, 1933, in Sinsheim, PA, he was the son of the late Solomon and Lottie (Rohrbaugh) Miller. Glenn was the loving husband of Janet M. (Phillips) Miller with whom he shared 60 years of marriage.
Glenn was a member of St. Paul’s Dubs United Church of Christ, Hanover, PA.
Glenn was a veteran and served his country proudly in the United States Army during the Korean War.
Glenn was a mason and worked for various builders in the area until his retirement.
Glenn enjoyed farming, hunting in Potter County, and especially spending time with his family.
In addition to his loving wife Janet, Glenn is survived by a son, Dale J. Miller of Littlestown, PA; three grandchildren, Devin D. Miller of York, PA, Sydney M. Miller and Dempsey J. Miller both of Littlestown, PA; and two sisters, Artella Cool and Mary Bollinger. Glenn was preceded in death by eleven siblings, Beatrice Mohr, Stewart Miller, Helen Aughenbaugh, Lester Miller, Harry Miller, Betty Wright, Maurice Miller, Solomon Miller, Jr., Eugene Miller, Shirley Ann Miller, and Anna M. Miller.
A funeral service to celebrate and remember Glenn’s life will be held 11 AM, Tuesday, September 12, 2023, at St. Paul’s Dubs United Church of Christ, 1958 Dubs Church Road, Hanover, PA, with his pastor, the Rev. Susan Fritz officiating. Burial will be in St. Paul’s Dubs Church Cemetery, Hanover, PA, with Military Honors being provided by the Hanover Allied Veterans Honor Guard Burial Detail. A visitation and time to share memories with the family will be held from 10:00-11:00AM, Tuesday, September 12, 2023, at the church.
