Gordon L. Reese

Gordon L. Reese, 72, of Hanover, PA, entered God’s eternal care Monday, April 7, 2025, at UPMC Hanover Hospital with his loving family by his side.

Born March 31, 1953, in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of the late Carroll and Edith (Paey) Reese.  Gordon was the loving husband of Daphene J. (Cramblitt) Reese, with whom he shared fifty years of marriage.

Gordon was a union electrician for the IBEW Local 229 for twenty years until his retirement.  He was a member of the Hanover Eagles AERIE 1409, and the Hanover Moose Lodge #227.

Gordon was the #1 Orioles and Ravens fan.  He enjoyed fishing, going on cruises, living life, and loved spending time with his family.

In addition to his loving wife Daphene, Gordon is survived by three children, Shane Reese and Nickolas Reese, both of McSherrystown, PA, and Jordon Reese of Savannah, GA; and one granddaughter, Sabrina Reese of Manchester, MD.   

Following cremation, services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
