Gregory T. Smith

Gregory Thomas Smith, of Hanover, PA, entered God’s eternal care on Tuesday, April 13, 2021 at UPMC Pinnacle Hanover.

Born December 8, 1961 in Colver, PA, he was the son of the late Thomas J. & Yvonne M. (Davis) Smith. He was the loving husband of Wanda M. (Nickol) Smith with whom he shared 40 years of marriage.

Gregory attended New Oxford Senior High School. Later, he was an equipment operator at West Manheim Township for over 26 years.

Gregory was a member of The Fraternal Order of Eagles, Aerie #1406, of Hanover.

In his spare time, Gregory loved riding his motorcycle and attending motorcycle rallies. He also enjoyed landscaping and being outdoors, going for long drives in the car, and hunting & collecting items at auctions & thrift shops. Most of all, Gregory enjoyed spending time with his loving family.

In addition to his wife Wanda, Gregory is survived by his son, Jonathan N. Smith of Hanover,  and his daughter, Tara E. Lansdown & husband James of Culpepper, VA. He also leaves behind 2 grandchildren, Mitchell & Gianna Smith. Gregory is survived by one sister, Sharon Smith of Virginia. He was preceded in death by his brother Jeffrey Smith.

Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
