Gunther H. Muller

Gunther Herman Muller, 81, of Hanover, PA, entered God's eternal care, Saturday, September 18, 2021 at home with his loving family by his side.

Born June 23, 1940 in Kiel, Germany, he was the son of the late Herman and Anastasia (Liska) Muller.  Gunther was the loving husband of the late Jacqueline Diane (Wagner) Muller with whom he shared 61 years of marriage until her passing on June 19, 29021.

Gunther was a 1958 graduate of Delone Catholic High School.  He worked as a material handler for Leonhardt Manufacturing Co. until his retirement in 2007.   He was a veteran of the United States Air Force having served his country proudly from 1959 to 1965.

Gunther was a member a member of St. David’s United Church of Christ, Hanover, PA.  He was a former EMT with the Pleasant Hill Volunteer Fire Company.

Gunther enjoyed traveling, sailing, fishing, and golfing.  He was always willing to help anyone that needed help.

Gunther is survived by his children, Lisa Thayer and husband Lloyd of Hanover, Donna Nusbaum of McSherrystown, Grant Muller and wife Jane of Littlestown, and Ginger Leppo and husband Scott of Hanover; 8 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; and 3 great great grandchildren.

Following cremation, a memorial service will be held at later date.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in memory of Gunther to St. David’s United Church of Christ, 142 Hobart Road, Hanover, PA 17331.
