Guy F. Elliot

Guy Frederic Elliot, 71, entered into God's eternal care Wednesday, December 17, 2025, at the Pappas House in Thomasville, PA.

Born March 23, 1954, in Syracuse, NY, he was the son of the late James F. and Dorothy A. (Brennan) Elliot.  He was the husband of Holly M. (Doll) Elliot.

Guy was a member of the Basilica of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, Hanover, PA, and the McSherrystown Home Association.

Guy was a 1972 graduate of Delone Catholic High School, McSherrystown, PA.  He worked as a roofer for Donald B. Smith Roofing for over 30 years.

Guy enjoyed watching his favorite football team, the Giants, wearing all of his Giants’ attire - his Giants coat, gloves, socks, and hat.

Guy is survived by his sons, James Elliot (Samantha) of Littlestown, PA and Paul Elliot (Crystal) of Fayetteville, PA; 5 grandchildren, Dante, Emily, Parker, Keith, and Chase; brothers, Ric Elliot (Sharon) of Fairfield, PA, and Chris Elliot (CiCi) of Hanover, PA; and his loving nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his brother, Joel Elliot; and his sister, Mary Anne Elliot.

A service to celebrate and remember Guy's life will be held 1:30 PM, Monday, January 5, 2026, at the Kenworthy Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 269 Frederick Street, Hanover, PA.  The Family will receive friends from 12:30 to 1:30 PM, on Monday, January 5, 2026, at the funeral home.  Inurnment will be private and for the family only in St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church Cemetery, Gettysburg, PA.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Guy’s memory to the Basilica of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, 30 Basilica Drive, Hanover, PA 17331.
