Heather V. Hoke

Heather V. Hoke, 47, of Hanover, PA, entered God’s eternal care Sunday, July 6, 2025 at home with her loving family by her side, in the arms of her loving mother.

Born September 26, 1977, in Westminster, MD, she was the loving daughter of G. Glenn and Barbara (Valentino) Hoke. 

Heather was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Hanover, PA.

Heather received a Certificate of Achievement from the H.A.R.T Center Training Program and graduated from South Western High School in 1999.   She worked at the  H.A.R.T Center for twenty-two years. 

Heather loved her hundreds of Barbie dolls, spending time with her family in Ocean City and Caledonia State Park, and she enjoyed traveling all over the United States and many major cities with her mother and father.   

"Heather was a brave and valiant little soldier through all the many surgeries she had starting at birth and now she is at peace with Glenn."

In addition to her loving mother, Heather is survived by her aunts, Judy A. Dehoff and husband James Sr. of Hanover, PA, and Vicki L. Koontz and husband Thomas Sr. of  Fayetteville, PA; and her cousins, James L. Dehoff, Jr. and wife Melissa and their children, Jena and Hayden, Jeffrey A. Dehoff and wife Lindsay and their daughter Sophia, Michelle Hoover and husband Jon and their children Nathan and Samantha, A.J. Koontz and wife Katie and their children Sutton and Holt, and Kaitlyn M. Koontz. She was preceded in death by her aunt, Anita Bloom and her husband Mike.   

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11AM, Friday, July 11, 2025, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 5055 Grandview Road, Hanover, PA, with Father Cole Mase as celebrant.  A visitation to share memories with the family will be held from 10-11AM, Friday, July 11, 2025, at the church.  The family would like everyone attending to dress in casual attire.  Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family in St. Joseph Catholic Church Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Heather’s memory to the H.A.R.T. Center, 450 East Golden Lane, New Oxford, PA 17350.
