Hilda F. Miller

Hilda F. Miller, 91, of Hanover, PA, entered God's eternal care Thursday, May 23, 2024, at the Homewood at Plum Creek Nursing Center.

Born September 28, 1932, in Hanover, PA, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Myrtle (Yohe) Leese.  Hilda was the loving wife of the late Harry Miller and the late Robert “Jim” Trish.

Hilda was a member of St. Paul’s Dubs Union Church, Hanover, PA, where she volunteered in the Kitchen for Auctions at the Conway Runkle Building.  She also volunteered at the Hanover Area Council of Churches.

Hilda worked as a presser at the former Aneco Trouser Company in Hanover with over 30 years of service.

Hilda is survived her grandchildren, Jason Trish of Hanover, PA, and Troy Trish of Arizona, 3 great grandchildren, and two brothers, Raymond Leese of New Oxford, PA and Carl D. Leese of Hanover, PA, as well as many nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by one son, Christopher Trish, one grandson, Shawn Trish, four brothers, John, Paul, Charles, and Dale Leese, and four sisters, Mae Goldsmith, Ruth Loss, Rhoda Potts, and Grace Adams.

A graveside service to celebrate and remember Hilda’s life will be held 10:00 AM, Friday, May 31, 2024, at Rest Haven Cemetery, Hanover, PA, with Chaplain Jack Biondo officiating.  A viewing and time to share memories with the family will be held from 6:00-8:00 PM, Wednesday, May 29, 2024, at the funeral home. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Hilda’s name to the charity of your choice.
