Jacqueline M. Kuhn

Jacqueline M. Kuhn, 97, of Hanover, PA, entered God’s eternal care on Saturday, July 13, 2024, at home surrounded by her loving family.

Born October 14, 1926, in Hanover, PA, she was the daughter of the late Roger and Veronica (Sanders) Johnson.  Jackie was the loving wife of the late Ralph W. Kuhn and the late William P. Bethas. 

Jackie was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Hanover, PA, a life member of American Dental Assistants Association, a member of the Hanover Breast Cancer Support Group and the Hanover Elks Ladies Auxiliary. 

Jackie worked as a dental assistant for 26 years for Dr. Arthur Breuer and then for 11 years for Dr. Michael B. Fink until her retirement.

Jackie enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family and friends.  She was known for her exceptional knitting skills and generously taught others.  Jackie was also an avid Baltimore Orioles fan, rarely missing a game.

Jackie is survived by her daughter, Linda B. Moore of Hanover, PA and 2 grandchildren, David Luckenbaugh and wife Misty of Gardendale, AL, and Dr. Amy O’Keeffe and husband James of Langhorne, PA.  She is also survived by two great grandchildren, Brittany Luckenbaugh and Joshua Halferty and wife Anna, three great-great grandchildren, Kyler Luckenbaugh, Lucy Halferty, and Mia Halferty, and several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her brother, Robert B. Johnson, and two sisters, Phyllis J. Smith, and Olivette Busbey.

Following cremation, a Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 AM, Monday, August 5, 2024, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 5055 Grandview Road, Hanover, PA, with Father Michael Rothan    as celebrant.  Burial will be in St. Joseph Catholic Church Cemetery, Hanover, PA.  The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 AM, Monday, August 5, 2024, at the church.

The family is grateful for the loving care provided by the staff and caregivers of Amedisys Hospice, particularly her aide, Nicky Smith.
